On removing comments boxes
For the last handful of posts I've not embedded the usual comments box (via Komments), and I think I'm going to move away from the habit altogether going forward. I've always enjoyed the prospect of connecting with other people and having a chat around topics that are on my mind, but the truth is - I'm a random dude on the internet with minimal following and nothing truly important to say or comment on. The amount of comments I've received in this blog are... like 1 or 2 tops? The admin involved with setting up a separate Komments URL for blog post started to feel like a chore that got in the way of actually posting things, and so I've made the decision to simply drop it from now on.
If you read this blog regularly but have never left a comment - don't feel bad! I don't crave for that kind of attention so we're all good!
If people wish to leave general thoughts then of course my guest book is still open. I'm also going to start using LetterBird as a more direct method of contact, after seeing this used on another blog. So if for some reason you do want to get in touch, there are options!
